I remember my first child was like a sea turtle whose head stretches outward and then shelters its head when in danger. I had ripped at the sheets of my hospital bed pulling the pillow over my head to bury myself somewhere! The contraction pains were like big icy balls of hailstones pelting at the very core of my stomach and exploding into a million pieces. I felt dizzy and sick on this treacherous ride!
I felt like I was the meanest, nastiest storm cloud growling at the universe!
Your body feels divided and your stomach ties itself in knots as you plunge downward to the end of the ride, breathing with exasperation and realizing that after completion your body naturally and slowly drifts back to itself while you review your experience.
Quivering from the sensation that envelopes your entire body at the end of the ride, you will find in front of you the tiniest little soul, enchanting and as magical as the beauty of the moon that dances in our night sky. You will hold in your arms the most precious jewel of nature….
