‘I felt like a Goddess!’ giving birth to a child and bringing about new beginnings. Wrapped in your snuggling arms in their unique form of life. (Pictured is my newest little treasure, though now he is six months old)!
Spellbound by a little baby’s cry of new life, I was besotted by the peace and tranquility that hugged my spirit as I held my baby. I was in a transparent tunnel experiencing two distinctively different worlds. A birthing experience that will leave you breathless, and the awe-inspiring first breath and authentic heartbeat of a newborn child. I felt an overwhelming sense of joy and relief as the pain of the contractions dissolved from my body and I allowed the waterfall of tears to flow freely from the music that stirred in my heart, from the beauty of nature that lie before me. An exquisite jewel! A treasure found, in the realms of paradise and pain that only a Mother Goddess could understand.

They are the sweet after-glow of sunshine
They are the dream weavers of drifting thoughts.’

The journey over the nine or so months of pregnancy was weird, wonderful, amazing, frightening, and very emotional. I felt queasy in the mornings and with my first son I had a fetish for plain potato chips and crab sticks. Though health professions advise against some seafoods…
As the weeks passed I was able to feel the presence of the baby moving in my tummy. This little person cart-wheeled, somersaulted, flipped and flopped in the cocooning warmth of the stretch of water that sat fittingly inside the wall of my uterus. The baby played at night and slept during the day. In a shining, shimmering bauble was a little persons authentic heartbeat floating preciously to life’s new mysteries.
My emotions changed like the seasons; they were high and they were low, and everything inbetween. Together, my baby and I were tumbling, grumbling bundles of joy! The kicks were like drum beats crashing against my inner skin. As the baby grew, my tummy grew even bigger! Stretching far enough to allow the baby to move easier. We bathed together, soaked in the warmth of a fluffy bubble bath and I watched as the complexion of my skin would rise like the tide in leaps and bounds. It was extraordinary and strange as the baby swished mischieviously and rippled across my stomach.
My husband and I busily prepared our babies rooms with dreamily treasures and bright musical sounds. Touching, feeling, funny things! Shades of reds and blues for either boy or girl lined the walls and baby linen.
A heavenly orchestra of baby cries
The tinkling of tiny bells
Authentic heartbeats
A charming surprise
Lavishly baby fragrant flowers bloom
The innocence of sweet baby sighs ~ will memerise!
